Many of you know, Skeeter Skat was born in Alaska and got it’s start in Montana, one of the best places in the world! Skeeter Skat spent the first 6 years as a “Montana” business, and they were great years! Testing Skeeter Skat and refining it in some of the most beautiful , rugged and yes, mosquito laden places on earth!
But alas, to really grow Skeeter Skat, we needed to move it somewhere there was a much longer Skeeter season, and frankly, more people to discover it! So we researched and picked Tennessee for it’s longer season, more mosquitoes and close proximity to some of the worst mosquito places in the US, the ‘The Deep South”!
Tennessee is great, lots of lakes & rivers, beautiful Mountains (not as good as MT but ….) and nice people. We gave it a trial run this winter and decided to stay for a while. We look forward to many new adventures and exploration, always testing Skeeter Skat along the way!

We are committed to stocking our Montana stores and our online orders from all over the US, as well as our new TN and beyond customers here to giving the same great service and quick turn around times! Skeeter Skat’s label is changing to meet the more astringent rules of the bigger city and you will see those changes as we get further into the season and we run out of the MT labels. One of the biggest changes is It will say ” Made in USA” instead of Montana 🙁 going forward.
