Amigo & Scout
Hey fellow dog lovers…. yep, this page is for you! Dogs have been in our lives for so long, we can’t imagine life without a furry buddy or two! We are expanding our Skeeter Skat line, to include more insect repelling products, chemical free and safe for our fuzzy buddy friends! We introduced our first dog safe chem free repellent earlier this Spring, and have gotten great feedback. I am also using it on our dog, to keep ticks from riding him into the house! So far so good!
NEW: Skeeter Skat K-9 safe Tick & Flea repellent!
When I started Skeeter Skat, 6& 1/2 years ago… we had two dogs, Scout, a wire-haired pointing Griffon, and Amigo (Migo) an orange roan, Italian Spinone. Both hunting dogs, loving, sweet and a little crazy! We lost Scout or “Roo” in year 3 of Skeeter Skat, in the Fall. Amigo stepped up as full time Skeeter Skat Ambassador, accompanying me to all Farmer’s markets, and shows and was my booth buddy all the way to age 16! We lost him in April of this year, 2025. It was a devastating loss after so much time with him, we said never again! And 4 months later, we met Jack Frost, a 6 month old puppy that badly needed a home, and now here he is lying next to me, snuggled against me as if he has known me for all his life! He is our new Skeeter Skat ambassador, so sweet and friendly and you will see him at shows!
Meet Jack Frost or “Jac Jac”- our new SS Ambassador!
Amigo, first Skeeter Skat booth ambassador! Miss you buddy!
Come say hello!
I still miss our other dogs, and always will, but we have many new adventures to look forward to with young Jack Frost. And I do believe he is up for the challenge!
Enjoy the pics of our beloved dogs that all left too soon!
Cheers!
